Classroom Management & Behavior Support

Let’s Talk About It.

There is no denying that classroom management is a vital skill that educators need to be successful.

For me, classroom management came naturally; however, I had my failures. Organization & Structure set the foundation for successful classroom management. Routines & Relationships are your besties.

I am excited to share the resources and methods that allowed me to manage my classrooms successfully.

I recommend that you enroll in the two programs below. If possible, encourage a colleague to participate with you so you both can have a support person.

Texas Behavior Support Initiative (TBSI)

I completed the TBSI training in 2017. It takes time but it provides a wealth of knowledge. I admit that I was shocked at how good it was and how much I enjoyed it.

It is 100% online, self-paced, and free.

Behavior Coach/Specialist Endorsement Program (Region 13)

For the 2021-2022 school year, I had the pleasure of being part of Cohort 16 of the Behavior Coach Endorsement program; it’s now called the Behavior Specialist Endorsement Program.

I looked forward to the courses. It was fun, informative, collaborative, eye-opening, and fun (yes, it was so enjoyable, I had to say fun twice). This program is worth every penny.

The program costs $3000; however, they are giving $1500 toward tuition to participants, so you only have to come out of pocket $1500. I was in love and knew this was an investment when I received my box full of books. I could not believe a program would provide me with such a massive and great selection of books. I was not given a list of books to have for the class; they literally mailed them to me.

It is 100% online. It appears the program is now six months versus nine months.
